- Fined up to $999 per day for life-safety violations.
- Receive a court summons for non-compliance or an incident.
- Required to pay DFD to verify that your systems are operational.
Insurance and OSHA Ramifications of Failure to Report
If an incident occurs during this timeframe, your insurance company will likely deny your claim. They can also terminate your policy or increase your premium. You may also incur OSHA fines and be found at a greater risk of liability if your case goes to court.
