Mobile device local cache saves all photos, notes, and data, and uploads them to the cloud when connectivity is restored. GPS chips continue to work independently of the internet. Push notifications may not send, and the real-time monitor location may not be accessible when the internet is down.

The number and placement of checkpoints vary by property or facility type. You’ll need at least 1 on each floor, often at “blind spots” such as stairwells.
